Eli is one of the most renowned strategic advisors in Israel, and is known for his unique understanding and expertise of the public, media, and regulatory spheres. With over 25 years’ experience in strategy and issues management, Eli advises global corporations as well as top Israeli companies, both publicly traded and private. Eli’s early career at the long-standing daily newspaper Ma’ariv started when he served as the platform’s legal-economics editor, advancing to become its UK Bureau Chief in London, eventually serving as a senior diplomatic correspondent. He later occupied a number of strategic roles in the public arena including communications advisor to the Minister of Defense, as well as Chief of Staff and Strategic Advisor to the Minister of Transport and Deputy Prime Minister. More recently Eli acted as consultant to the Ministry of Defense on the campaign surrounding the defense budget. In 2009, Eli established KAMIR Strategy, which quickly became one of the leading strategy and communications consulting firms in Israel. Today, under Eli’s leadership, the KAMIR team advises top Israeli and international companies who stand at the center of public discourse in Israel, and guides them as they face complex issues on a media and regulatory level.
